Passive House – 17 Mile Drive
Pebble Beach, CA
The adoption and revitalization of Passive Building Design represents a significant step towards sustainability, energy conservation, and addressing pressing issues of climate change. By drastically reducing energy consumption and promoting healthier living environments, passive houses embody the principles of responsible and forward-thinking construction. These high standards of energy efficiency are seen throughout the design of our current project, 17 Mile Drive, designed by Passive House BB.
This project is one of a kind in the area for energy efficiency, utilizing air sealing, conditioned crawl spaces, and high performing insulation. The project was designed to meet the performance targets of the International Passive House Standard to achieve Passive House Plus certification.
