Carmel, The Village
Mountain View, California
This project features 325 contemporary apartment units with rooftop retreats, styled amenities and a resort-inspired pool all in a modern village setting overlooking a beautiful neighborhood park with restaurants and shops.
This 400,000-sf mixed-use development also includes 30,000-sf of retail space and was structurally designed by Hohbach-Lewin, Inc. for a joint venture of Merlone Geier Partners, LLC and Carmel Properties. The architect was Ankrom Moisan.
Structurally the project consists of three 5-story buildings, framed of wood over concrete podiums on a 150,000-sf full block subterranean basement parking garage. The ground level concrete slab supports two access driveways that intersect at the center of complex.
