Expanded Optometry Clinic – St. Cloud VA Health Care System

Hohbach-Lewin Protective Services Division Manager, Kyle Haas, S.E. was the Project Manager for the blast and physical security design of the new Optometry Clinic Expansion project at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center.

The St. Cloud VA Health Care System’s optometry services capacity was increased through expansion of the existing Building 29 to create the new state-of-the-art clinical space. The expansion was designed to resist conventional high-explosive attack consistent with the Department of Veterans Affairs physical security criteria. The blast and physical security design was carried out utilizing the VA Physical Security Design Manual.
